E​​​xplora Journeys has big plans for 2026, and the arrival of EXPLORA III is a central part of that vision. Debuting this summer, the new ship will bring a new level of space, comfort, and design to luxury ocean travel, featuring 463 Ocean Suites, Penthouses, and Residences, along with multiple dining venues and a fully reimagined wellness and fitness program. (Note: Two more new ships will set sail in 2027). EXPLORA III’s inaugural season will take guests from the Mediterranean to Northern Europe, Iceland, Greenland, and North America’s East Coast, followed by a winter season in the Caribbean. Throughout, the experience is built around what Explora Journeys calls the Ocean State of Mind: unhurried travel, thoughtful design, and time spent well at sea.

EXPLORA III will trace some of the world’s most dramatic and inspiring coastlines. This summer, the ship sails from Western Europe through Northern Europe, weaving past the coasts of the Netherlands, Norway, Estonia, Sweden, and Germany before reaching the otherworldly landscapes of Iceland and Greenland. Along the way, EXPLORA III calls at lesser-visited ports such as Rønne in Denmark, Nanortalik and Paamiut in Greenland, and Seyðisfjörður in Iceland. Come early fall, the ship begins itineraries in Canada and the United States—with exploration in New York, Quebec City, and the Magdalen Islands—before setting sail in the Caribbean for the winter season.

From the moment guests step aboard, EXPLORA III is defined by a sense of space and calm. With generous public areas and expansive outdoor decks, the ship feels open, airy, and modern. Accommodations are chic yet comfortable, with a wide selection of Ocean Penthouses and Ocean Residences, including two Owner’s Residences and newly reimagined Cove Residences that feature a roomier layout and flow. Designed to welcome around 900 guests onboard with an exceptional guest‑to‑host ratio of 1.25 to 1, the experience remains intimate, attentive, and highly personalized.

Dining aboard EXPLORA III is designed to be as immersive and varied as the destinations the ship visits. Guests can move effortlessly from casual cafés to refined signature restaurants, each space presenting a thoughtful balance of regional flavors and global influences. From fine Pan-Asian cuisine at Sakura and authentic Italian at Anthology to a European steakhouse experience at Marble & Co. Grill and fresh Mediterranean flavors at Med Yacht Club, every meal offers a new perspective. Whether sampling small plates, multi-course tasting menus, or market-style offerings, the culinary experience encourages exploration, conversation, and a leisurely pace that complements life at sea.

Wellbeing is a focus on EXPLORA III, anchored by Ocean Wellness – The Spa, a tranquil space offering treatments inspired by the sea. The Fitness Centre and Fitness Studio offer advanced equipment for focused workouts, while outdoor options include an open-air fitness area and an extended running track with panoramic views. The expanded Sports Court features pickleball, paddleball, and basketball, giving guests multiple ways to stay active, relax, or recharge in an environment designed for both energy and calm.
