3 Magical Warm-Water Expeditions

The New Grand Tour

Sail with Abercrombie & Kent to the Galápagos, the Seychelles, and French Polynesia.

Abercrombie & Kent’s warm-water expeditions are designed for every kind of adventurer—from wildlife lovers and snorkelers to culture seekers and relaxed cruisers. Whether you’re spotting blue-footed boobies in the Galápagos, gliding through Aldabra Atoll in the Seychelles, or diving into French Polynesia’s aquamarine lagoons, each journey offers intimate access, A&K’s acclaimed Expedition Team, enrichment programs, and more.

Ultimate Galápagos:
Southern & Central Route

The scoop: Eight nights, nine destinations, 20 guests (max), countless unforgettable sights. You’ll sail through the Galápagos Islands’ southern and central routes aboard an Ecoventura adventure yacht, considered the most exclusive charter vessels in the islands.

What you’ll see: Guided by Abercrombie & Kent’s Expedition Team, discover giant tortoises, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, sea lions, penguins, colorful fish and coral, whitetip sharks, sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, sea stars, bright pink flamingos, and so much more.

What you’ll do: Active adventures include kayaking, Zodiac and shore excursions, snorkeling (with sea lions and Galápagos penguins!), and climbing to the summit of a once-active volcano for amazing views. You’ll also go birdwatching, stargaze beneath an equatorial sky, relax on white coral beaches, and try new dishes like coconut-rich encocado (fish stew).

What you won’t want to miss: A visit to A&K Philanthropy’s Galápagos Infinito Project, which is nurturing the next generation of conservationists. In partnership with Naveducando Foundation, the program brings local seventh graders aboard multi-day boat expeditions to explore the islands’ marine wonders firsthand. Guided by naturalists and educators, these immersive journeys instill knowledge, pride, and a deep-rooted sense of stewardship for the place they call home.

Cruising the Seychelles & Coastal Tanzania

The scoop: 13 nights, 14 destinations, 148 guests (max), four UNESCO World Heritage sites. You’ll voyage on an exclusive charter to the far reaches of the Indian Ocean, discovering secluded islands steeped in natural beauty, culture, and history.

What you’ll see: Profound historical architecture (ancient villages, mosques, palaces, and cemeteries), awe-inspiring wildlife (red colobus monkeys, giant tortoises, rare birds), sleepy fishing villages, and some of the most beautiful beaches on earth.

What you’ll do: Take in otherworldly history, including the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Zanzibar’s Stone Town and the storied ruins of Kilwa Kisiwani. Snorkel through the Seychelles’ coral reefs and the diverse marine life of Aldabra Atoll—home to most of the world’s giant tortoises. Visit a rural spice farm and trek through the mangroves of Jozani Forest Nature Reserve.

What you won’t want to miss: How about a little safari with your sailing? Tack on a five-day pre-tour extension and safari across the sweeping Serengeti plains with Abercrombie & Kent. You’ll experience magical game drives (likely witnessing the Big 5), bird’s-eye views from a hot-air balloon, and private dinners in the bush.

Cruising French Polynesia: Tahiti & Beyond

The scoop: 15 nights, 14 destinations, 148 guests (max), endless waterfalls and lagoons. Voyage the remote reaches of the Tuamotus, Marquesas and Society Island groups aboard an exclusive charter, choosing from a host of imaginative adventures by sea and by land.

What you’ll see: Waterfall-laden mountains, black-sand beaches, pink-sand beaches, and blue lagoons, as well as a melting pot of diverse cultures, artisanal villages, and archeological treasures.

What you’ll do: Venture off the beaten path to wondrous pearl farms, uninhabited atolls and remote island communities. Snorkel and swim with blacktip reef sharks, stingrays, and other marine life, and hike to secluded waterfalls and volcanic mountains. Partake in traditional Polynesian ceremonies and meet with local craftspeople.

What you won’t want to miss: The island of Hiva Oa, where emerald countryside, craggy mountains, and deep valleys intersect. Here, a visit to the former home and final resting place of artist Paul Gauguin is a must.
