We are an iconic designer 5 STAR boutique hotel in the Adelaide Hills famous for our luxury escapes, three hat fine dining restaurant, indulgent day spa experiences, conference retreats and breathtakingly beautiful weddings. Arthur Hardy, who built Mount Lofty House as his summer residence, was a keen botanist and gardener. This is why our grounds are so versatile and beautiful throughout the year. These rooms are more spacious opening onto the tranquil gardens and surrounds of Mount Lofty House with both indoor and outdoor balcony seating areas. 376 square feet (35m2)

Piccadilly Valley

Located in the Piccadilly Wing, our spacious Piccadilly Valley rooms offer breathtaking views across Piccadilly Valley with sitting area and outdoor balconies. The rooms are perfectly complemented with local artist Stephen Trebilcock's work as well as a library of books. 376 square feet(35m2)

Tower Suite

Our magnificent Tower Suite is set over two levels and overlooks the pool and across the gardens. Loft bedroom and spa bath. Our Suites are styled in their own unique way showcasing their individual character offering a separate sitting area and a complimentary minibar to enjoy. 538 square feet (50m2).

Arthur Waterhouse Lounge

Sophisticated, casual and relaxed with its open fireplace, large leather chairs guests can relax in comfort, or walk out to the tiered lawns which overlook the Piccadilly Valley. AWL bar is renowned for its inspired cocktail menu. Every season, our master bartenders create a new set of drinks that are inspired by the elements and will take you away on a culinary and cultural journey.

Martha Hardy's Kitchen

Arthur Hardy was reminiscent of a South Australian Jay Gatsby; indeed his wife Martha described their lifestyle as ‘a kind of feudal splendor’. Martha‘s love for lavish entertaining delighted guests, who often noted that there was always a leg of lamb roasting on the huge spit in the estate kitchen.

Reservations are essential. Martha Hardy’s Kitchen is open 7 days.
