The Power of Wellness
Los Cabos celebrates ambassador
and athlete Diana Flores.
Many resort towns tout themselves as a wellness destination. Yoga classes? Check. World-class spas? Yes. Access to nature? You bet. Fresh, healthy cuisine? On the menu. Having such amenities is an amazing start, but how about adding a wellness-focused tourism ambassador?
That’s how Los Cabos is elevating itself further as a wellness-forward destination. The resort town recently partnered with Mexican native Diana Flores, a professional athlete who champions self-empowerment, active living, connection to nature, mental wellbeing, environmental stewardship, and clean eating. She’s also a firm believer in spoiling yourself occasionally, which makes her a perfect fit, given the luxury and relaxation Los Cabos is known for.
A proven athlete and natural leader, Diana is perhaps best known across Mexico for helping her team win a gold medal as the captain and quarterback of the Women’s National Flag Football Team. When she’s not winning on the world stage, she’s winning at life — showcasing the unparalleled beauty and cultural treasures Los Cabos has to offer.
While there’s no shortage of wellness opportunity in Los Cabos, Diana has a few favorite suggestions. Who knows? You might just bump into her next time you’re in this beachside paradise.
Day 1

Yacht cruise and standup paddleboarding. Rise with the sun for an early morning yacht cruise in the Bahia San Lucas, the perfect place for meditating and beginning the day with gratitude for the natural beauty that surrounds you. Later, a stand-up paddle board session in the Chileno Bay provides a little vitamin D, and vitamin sea.
Day 2

Beach workout and culinary delights. A morning yoga session on the picturesque Waldorf Pedregal Beach loosens the muscles before a run along the beach. Boot camp style workouts are also an option at Moduvated Fitness. All that exercise is sure to work up an appetite. Luckily, the ocean-to-table menu at Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal El Farallon is filled with delectable and sustainable choices.
Day 3

Nature hike and spa. A hike through Canyon de la Zorra in the Sierra de la Laguna Mountain Range leads to a true desert oasis of secluded waterfalls and tranquil swimming holes. More plunge pools can be found at the Oasis Spa by Four Seasons, along with rejuvenating and healing therapies like the Clay Body Treatment — a warm clay detoxifying treatment that concludes with a blissful massage.
