Paul Gauguin Cruises is transforming the family vacation into a journey of discovery.

From sea turtle science to Tahitian crafts, star gazing to beach races, each day in the South Pacific is an adventure onboard (and off) with the Moana Explorer program. Paul Gauguin Cruises has created this unique offering in partnership with Te mana o te moana, a renowned South Pacific marine education and conservation foundation. Curated exclusively for the 6- to 15-year-old set, Moana Explorer Program beautifully blurs the lines between play and learning.
Aboard the m/s Paul Gauguin, the program is part of an all-inclusive value, with different itineraries every day—each one led by an expert naturalist. The lineup includes island and beach excursions, science experiments, creative crafts, and cultural games. Whether it’s designing a Polynesian tattoo, conducting water experiments, or treasure hunting, the educational agenda is filtered through a lens of fun adventure.

More than a series of activities, the Moana Explorer Program is a deep dive into the rich tapestry of Polynesian culture. Young travelers will learn about Tahitian traditions, legends, and island lifestyle, with opportunities to hear from locals themselves. As they play real-life beach Survivor and listen to tales of island folklore, they’ll connect with the local culture in a meaningful and engaging way.
Central to the Moana Explorer Program is its focus on environmental stewardship. With nature-centric and sustainable experiences (sea turtle education, snorkeling in pristine lagoons, hiking volcanic mountains), each activity is designed to help foster a deep love and respect for nature while teaching the importance of preserving the biodiversity of the South Pacific for generations to come.

From touring the ship’s bridge with officers to spotting wildlife from the sundeck, the activities are equally imaginative onboard m/s The Gauguin. Paired with award-winning service, the ship provides an ideal setting for families to discover their own perfect blend of adventure, culture, and relaxation, making for a voyage that is just as educational as it is unforgettable.

What’s fun, relaxing, and splendid for the whole family? Welcome to the new Conrad Orlando.
I took my first trip to Disney when I was six and haven't stopped traveling since. I fell in love with It’s a Small World. How great was it to visit numerous countries on a joyous boat ride! Since then, I've traveled to 50+ countries on six continents. In 2017, I traveled around the world and visited 23 countries – I spent more than a month in Italy and England and also enjoyed time in Israel, Japan, France and Morocco. While I spent a lot of time traveling solo, I also enjoyed time with my family and friends. Seeing their joy discovering new places helped me discover the joy that comes from planning a magical trip. From then, I decided to turn my passion into a profession.
Some of my favorite places to go include Italy, London, Paris, New York City, Boston, The Grand Canyon, The Galapagos Islands, Israel and Japan.
