The ocean has long been known to calm the mind and revitalize the body — and now, along with exploring bucket-list destinations and cultures, guests are invited to enrich well-being with tailor-made retreat programs focused on sleep, fitness, and nutrition with Ocean Wellness.
“We’ve long understood the powerful effect of water and waves on body, mind, and soul,” says Julanda Marais, Senior Lead of Spa Operations. “This is the inspiration for Ocean Wellness. We want to give our guests a feeling of refined simplicity, relaxed luxury, and complete mental and physical replenishment.”

Relax and Revitalize at The Spa
Spa treatments are no longer just about outer beauty. The Spa was designed to mirror the gentle, hypnotic effect of the ocean, allowing the pressures of daily life to recede via 7,500 square feet of space, 11 treatment rooms, a beauty studio, and a Sensorial Therapeutic Circuit primed to soothe, heal, and pamper. The Spa utilizes sustainable products containing active ingredients with botanical, marine, and biological extracts. Treatments are crafted with Dr. Philip Levy’s world-famous stem cell formula, Aromatherapy Associates’ leading-edge therapies promoting better sleep and stress reduction, and The Tides Wellness’ natural ingredients.

Science has proven exercise is crucial for a strong immune system, lower stress levels, a balanced mood, solid sleep, and elevated energy. From strength training and cardio to yoga and Pilates, guests are motivated to optimize their health with bespoke group classes, private consultations, and over 3,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor fitness facilities — including a half-basketball court and panoramic outdoor running track. Additionally, Explora Journeys partnered with Technogym. As a result, smart equipment for personalized fitness programs are as fun as they are effective. In-suite fitness programs are also available.
