Wine Cruises
AmaWaterways brings travelers on more than 70 wine cruises throughout the year, each one carefully crafted to savor Europe’s most storied libations on a deeper, more intimate level.
Each trip is hosted by renowned wine experts—including vineyard owners, winemakers, certified sommeliers, and wine educators—who lead tastings and interactive discussions, curate food and wine pairing dinners, and guide vineyard and cellar tours.
On the shore excursions, guests are invited to connect with the artisans and vintners working the same land as their ancestors, and then relish a crisp white or deep red inside a historic château. These cruises also provide a chance to pair decadent chocolate with the perfect wine, indulge your French foodie fantasies, and sample the world’s best vintages along the way.

The Secrets of Egypt and the Nile sailing, for instance, brings exclusive access to the tomb of Queen Nefertari, with a private lunch at the Abdeen Palace and the opportunity to connect with local Nubian people who practice traditions that honor their ancestors who once ruled Egypt.
